Nature of the services

Nilsen Consulting provides independent business, commercial finance and technology consulting. Services may include business analysis, cash-flow and scenario modeling, technology and infrastructure assessments, AI and automation projects, digital-asset infrastructure analysis, business development and stakeholder facilitation.

The precise scope, deliverables and responsibilities for each engagement are defined in a separate written agreement.

No legal or tax advice

Nilsen Consulting is not a law firm or tax advisory practice. Information and analysis concerning legal, regulatory or tax matters are provided only as general business context and do not constitute legal or tax advice.

Clients should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified lawyer, accountant or tax adviser before acting on matters requiring specialist advice.

No regulated investment advice

Nilsen Consulting does not provide personalized recommendations concerning the purchase, sale, holding or suitability of specific financial instruments or investments.

Nothing on this website, or in general publications and communications from Nilsen Consulting, constitutes an offer, solicitation, investment recommendation or guarantee of financial performance.

Digital assets

Work concerning digital assets is limited to business, operational and technical matters — evaluating infrastructure, custody models and ownership structure, not specific holdings. Nilsen Consulting does not provide regulated crypto-asset services.

Nilsen Consulting does not provide personalized recommendations concerning transactions in specific crypto-assets, manage crypto-asset portfolios, operate a trading platform, execute or transmit client orders, exchange crypto-assets, or provide custody or control of client crypto-assets or private keys.

Digital assets involve material technical, operational, regulatory and financial risks. Clients remain responsible for obtaining appropriate legal, tax and regulated financial advice before making investment or transaction decisions.

Introductions

Nilsen Consulting may, where appropriate, introduce clients to potential commercial counterparties or specialist advisers. An introduction does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, placement service, brokerage service or recommendation to enter into a transaction.

Clients are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and obtaining appropriate professional advice before entering into any agreement.

Any fee, commission or other commercial interest connected with an introduction will be disclosed in advance.

Third-party specialists

Lawyers, tax advisers, accountants, compliance specialists and other third parties remain independent of Nilsen Consulting unless expressly stated otherwise. Nilsen Consulting is not responsible for advice or services delivered by an independent third party.

No guarantee

Analysis and recommendations depend on the information available, assumptions agreed with the client and circumstances at the relevant time. Nilsen Consulting does not guarantee any particular commercial, financial, technical or regulatory outcome.

Privacy

Data controller. Sindre Nilsen, trading as Nilsen Consulting (org. no. 923 837 302), is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website. Contact: sindre.nilsen@nilsenconsulting.eu.

What is processed. This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. It has one contact form. The personal data processed is: (1) the name, email address and message you submit through the contact form, or that you include when emailing Nilsen Consulting directly; and (2) standard technical server-log data (such as IP address, timestamp and browser type) collected automatically by the hosting provider as part of normal website operation.

Purpose and legal basis. Contact-form submissions and email correspondence are processed to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to take steps prior to entering into an engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or on the basis of legitimate interest in handling business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Server-log data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating, securing and maintaining the website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Recipients. Contact-form submissions and email are handled directly by Sindre Nilsen and not shared with third parties, except where necessary to deliver an engagement you've requested. The website is hosted via Cloudflare, which processes technical server-log data as part of hosting and content delivery. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email via Resend (Resend, Inc., United States), which processes them only to transmit the message. Apple (iCloud Mail) processes email sent to the address above.

International transfers. Cloudflare and Resend may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Retention. Contact-form submissions and email correspondence are retained for as long as necessary for the purpose they were collected, or as required under Norwegian law (e.g. bookkeeping obligations for engagement-related correspondence). Server logs are retained in line with the hosting provider's standard log-retention practices.

Your rights. You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these, contact sindre.nilsen@nilsenconsulting.eu.

Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority), datatilsynet.no.
